A WANDERLUST AESTHETIC is one that celebrates creativity in all forms - from an appreciation for traditional artisanal methods to a bold embrace of contemporary trends.

FOUNDERS ASHLEY AND MICHELLE NELSON have a deep love of the interior environs, the material it takes to build them, and everything in between. They feel it is imperative to imbue each project holistically, from the architectural details, down to the finishing touches. It’s what they believe lends to an organic timelessness that many designers strive for the entirety of their careers. 

AS A STUDIO, we embrace different mediums. We diversify tools and techniques used to create spaces and objects that evoke powerful emotions and provide a clear path to a gratifying completion. We employ a range of methods to convey our ideas, from rudimentary sketches and painting, transitioning through to digital prototyping and rendering.  By thoughtfully combining the right design elements, we strive to create spaces and objects that are both visually and emotionally impactful. The heart of our design style centers on an appreciation for how spaces can be crafted to represent and reflect client values. These values and our collective desire to create an atmosphere of self expression in a powerful way, drive the focus of all our projects. We believe design has the unique ability to create physical connections on an emotional level. It’s so much more than just selecting  paint colors and click-to-buy furniture – it’s about creating an environment that resonates with its inhabitants in dynamic ways. 

Our studio, currently based in MEXICO CITY, is in the process of developing a custom line of textiles, wallpapers, art prints, furniture and more.
